Dharath Foundation is a grassroots non-profit dedicated to creating harmony between people and the planet.Our work focuses on fostering rural communities, reforesting degraded lands, empowering children through education and opportunities, and exploring India’s deep traditions of eco-spirituality.
OUR PROJECTS
We believe that community well-being and ecological health are inseparable. By weaving together traditional knowledge and contemporary action, Dharath supports initiatives that are practical, sustainable, and deeply rooted in cultural wisdom.
The word Dharath (ਧਰਤਿ in Gurmukhi) means Earth — a reminder that our lives, traditions, and futures are all connected to the soil beneath our feet.
Community Building
We work with rural communities to strengthen resilience and growth. Through skill-sharing and support networks, Dharath fosters collective growth for women’s empowerment groups,
sustainable farming practices,
and helping fund rural communities in need.
Children’s Empowerment
Children are the roots of tomorrow. Dharath creates opportunities for education, creativity, and well-being so every child can grow with confidence and curiosity.
Reforestation
We restore balance to ecosystems by planting trees, reviving local biodiversity, and working with communities to protect natural resources.
